Our Licence
We hold an All Day Licence issued by the Ministry of Education. This caters for 40 children per session,
aged 2-5 years, giving parents the option of either full days, sessional enrolments, or a combination of both.
Full days are available Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 4:00pm, with a choice of morning and afternoon sessions within these hours.

Afternoon: 1.00pm - 4.00pm
The centre remains open throughout all school holidays except for the December/January holidays.

Special Features
In 1961 a group of parents in the Albany Community identified a need for an educational childcare facility, hence Albany Community Preschool a non-profit organisation was established. The Centre is managed by a competent staff/parent Committee lead by the elected Executive Members. The Chairperson and Licensee is Belinda Mitchell and the Head Teacher is Lynne Umar.

Morning - $19.00 per session
Afternoon - $14.00 per session
Full day - $33
On enrolment a refundable bond of $50.00 per child is payable.

Emergency Management Plan
The Centre has a practical Emergency Management Plan for civil emergencies – this plan is displayed on the Centre Information Board and details how children are evacuated and cared for in a variety of emergencies. The Emergency Management Plan covers evacuation procedures, relocation arrangements and emergency closure of the Centre.
